Auburn Youth Group is seeking an additional Volunteer Youth Leader who has a passion for young people, is a Christian (protestant) and has a valid Working with Children Check certificate to join our church.
A female candidate is preferred as the girls ministry is currently expanding but both male and females are welcome to apply as girls ministry is only one aspect of the youth group. Knowledge of Chinese/Cantonese would be helpful but not compulsory.
Auburn Youth Group is the young people’s ministry partnership of Auburn Baptist Church and Western District Chinese Christian Church. The youth group which runs in English is currently run by 2 part-time volunteer youth leaders and currently has around 15-20 young people. We have regular Sunday and weekday activities for the high school students and young adults in their early 20s.
