Auburn Baptist Church is looking for the right person to lead and grow our youth ministry. Auburn is one of the most culturally diverse suburbs of Sydney. We work closely with Western District Chinese Christian Church (a Cantonese-speaking congregation). Our youth ministry currently covers yr 7 to university, with about 12 regularly attending.

Responsibilities:
1) Weekly youth program
2) Sunday youth Bible Study
3) Engaging with local youth

Qualities:
a) Able to work in a multi-cultural community;
b) Leadership experience;
c) Able to mentor and equip youth for ministry
d) Heart for the gospel and outreach

Other:
– Answerable to the senior Pastor, ABC
– Line of communication with WDCCC;
– Initial position 2 days per week;
– Flexible hours to allow for study commitments (by negotiation with Pastor)
– Remuneration as per BCNSW recommendations.
